A championship open challenge has been announced for tonight’s (November 7) episode of WWE Raw.
In recent weeks, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins has been at loggerheads with Mustafa Ali after he captured the United States Championship from Bobby Lashley on October 10.
Many expected Rollins to defend the title against Ali at WWE Crown Jewel, but the match ultimately never took place on the show.
However, WWE have now announced that Seth will defend the title in an open challenge on tonight’s episode of the show.
Tonight on Monday Night Raw, The Visionary will turn back the clock and emulate one of his rivals in John Cena as he holds an Open Challenge for the United States Championship.
Since defeating Bobby Lashley a few weeks ago in Brooklyn for the stars-and-stripes championship, Rollins retained against Matt Riddle and took down Austin Theory in a Championship Contender’s Match last week.
Who will challenge Rollins for the title? Find out tonight on Raw at 8/7 C on USA!
The show will be the first episode following WWE Crown Jewel, and the first on the road to Survivor Series WarGames later on this month in Boston.
No other matches have yet been announced for the show, though Omos will not be featured on the show due to currently being in Nigeria.
TONIGHT on #WWERaw @WWERollins holds a #USTitle Open Challenge!
