A new update has emerged regarding the release of the highly anticipated AEW video game AEW: Fight Forever.
The release of the game has been delayed a number of times in the run up to launch, and information about the game has been scarce outside of a handful of gameplay videos and trailers.
According to Matt Black of WrestleZone, the game will be part of Xbox’s Game Pass service once it is released.
As a result, it will be available to the more than 25 million subscribers who use the service.
As such, AEW: Fight Forever will become the first officially licensed wrestling game on Xbox Game Pass.
Details about the game have been few and far between, though it is known that late AEW wrestler Brodie Lee, and late WWE wrestler Owen Hart will be included in the game with the permission of their families.
Though the current iteration of the game’s cover features CM Punk, it is not known if this will change before launch, due to the uncertainty of Punk’s status in the company following AEW All Out 2022.
AEW Fight Forever will be released on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
