A new documentary about Vince McMahon is set to debut next month as the former WWE CEO remains a controversial figure.
While no longer functioning in his executive role in WWE, Vince McMahon won’t be quietly exiting stage left as a new VICE documentary is set to debut.
Titled the fascinating, ‘The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon,’ from VICE TV will drop on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 9pm EST.
The program will run against WWE’s developmental brand on USA Network, NXT in the first episode after their premium live event NXT Deadline on December 10.
Vince McMahon announced his retirement amid allegations of sexual misconduct and financial missteps while the WWE Board of Directors continued their investigation into matters.
The investigation has reportedly since concluded however Vince McMahon is not set to return to the company with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan now serving as co-CEOs.
The VICE documentary is unlikely to be the last on the topic of the embattled McMahon.
There is reportedly also an HBO produced effort under the HBO Real Sports banner that is underway.
While there has been Netflix docuseries two year in the making on McMahon, it was rumored to have been scrapped amid the scandal however has since been clarified as being back on.
An unauthorized book on the topic of Vince McMahon titled, ‘Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America’ by Abraham Riesman is set to drop in March 2023.
