The WWE main roster debut of WarGames is officially set.
The match beyond will appear on the WWE main roster for the first time ever at Survivor Series on November 26 in Boston.
The show will feature both a men’s and women’s WarGames match, with Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim and a fifth member TBD taking on Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley in the women’s match.
While the men’s WarGames match has yet to be confirmed, it appears as though it will feature the Bloodline taking on Drew McIntyre, the Brawling Brutes and a fifth member.
Drew aligning with the Brawling Brutes sees him reuniting with Sheamus, a man who he went to war with earlier this year.
Speaking to The Rick and Cutter Show, McIntyre explained why he and Sheamus aligned after months of animosity.
He explained:
“We’ve been around each other for 20 years now in wrestling and life and all the ups and downs. I don’t think there’s anything we’ve not seen together or done together.
“It’s pretty cool to see his resurgence since Clash at the Castle and finally getting his flowers and respect for everything he’s done and achieved and the quality matches he brings every single week. It’s pretty cool to be back side by side with him on the TV show.
“Everyone knows Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are deadly together, but we might just turn on each other at any given time and start fighting each other. We’re back on the same page just in time because somebody has to take down the Bloodline,
“Finally, Sheamus and I had a little chat, got back on the same page and realized, ‘what the hell are we doing fighting? We need to be fighting together not against each other. We need to save wrestling and save those world championships and get them off Roman.'”
Continuing on, despite not bein officially set for the match, McIntyre made the bold claim that he ‘will’ be in WarGames on the show.
He said:
“Everybody make sure to check out WarGames, I’m going to get in that thing.”
Kevin Owens, who many expect to be the final member of the team, recently had an injury scare, but is reportedly still set to appear in the match.
