AEW star Dax Harwood has admitted that he disagreed about Tully Blanchard’s role in the company, and his faction the Pinnacle.
Harwood and MJF notably officially joined forces in March 2021 to form the Pinnacle faction, along with Cash Wheeler, Wardlow, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard.
Speaking on his FTR podcast, Harwood criticised the decision to have MJF cut promos for the group, when Blanchard was also featuring in the segments.
Harwood explained:
“Max (Friedman) was the one doing all the talking, and Tully was just sitting there. If you have a manager, the manager has to be a difference-maker in your career, right?
“Because if he’s not a difference-maker in your career, then why is he there?”
“I think (MJF) probably had appreciation for Tully. I don’t think he understands the magnitude of how big Tully Blanchard actually is, and how important he actually is to the sport and to the business of professional wrestling.”
Harwood and Wheeler returned to AEW at the Revolution pay-per-view, attacking the Gunns following their AEW Tag Team Championship defence.
An update has since emerged on FTR’s contract statuses, which you can read about right here.
