With night one of WrestleMania 39 behind us, we look ahead to night two, and the uncertain future of Bobby Lashley.
Lashley was originally slated to face Bray Wyatt on the show, but an illness sidelined Wyatt, leaving Lashley without an opponent for the show.
Lashley won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown, but he has still made it clear that he is free on both nights.
While Lashley did not appear on the first night, one person who did was YouTube star KSI, who appeared alongside his business partner Logan Paul during Paul’s match with Seth Rollins.
KSI ended up taking an accidental Frog Splash through a table from Paul during the show, with Rollins picking up the win in the end.
KSI spoke to Cathy Kelley after the match, where he spoke about potentially stepping into the ring, naming Bobby Lashley as a potential opponent.
Responding to KSI, Lashley seemingly implied that he would be facing KSI on ths show if no-one else wants to step up.
He said:
Not really what I had in mind for #WrestleMania but if no one else wants to step up…
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Trophy is set to be moved to SoFi Stadium for use in ‘an entrance’, which would seemingly imply that Lashley will make an appearance on tonight’s second night.
