Former Star Doesn’t Consider WWE Run A Failure WWE

A former star doesn’t consider their WWE run a failure.

In 2020, Sareee, then known as Sarray, signed with WWE and joined the NXT brand. Unfortunately, her run with the company was cut short and she eventually left after her contract expired.

Speaking with Monthly Puroresu, Sareee discussed her time and experience in WWE. Stating that she didn’t consider her run a failure, she said:

“I’m really happy I went. I gained a lot of knowledge, I suppose. I did learn a lot while I was in the United States. I wasn’t able to bring my entire wrestling repertoire to the WWE, but I have absolutely no regrets about going. It wasn’t at all a failure.”

On her experience in WWE, the former Sarray stated:

“Since it is a large organization, there are many diverse characters, and a lot of things change whenever the top management changes. I traveled to the U.S. and other countries since I was unable to give my fight my all.”

“As a result, the number of new admirers who came to support me has significantly increased. I wanted to demonstrate my strength to the fullest extent possible.”

Sareee recently made her return to Japan and competed in a high profile bout with Chihiro Hashimoto in a self-titled event, Sareee-ism.

The card for WWE Night of Champions 2023 on Saturday, May 27 is as follows:
