Tony Khan has confirmed an injury to a top AEW star ahead of a big scheduled match at this Sunday’s Double or Nothing event.
AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter was scheduled for a six-woman tag team match, teaming with Dr. Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida against the Outcasts’ Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho.
Hayter ended up being unable to compete in the match, with it being changed to Baker and Shida taking on Soho and Storm.
However, Hayter is still scheduled for the Double or Nothing event this Sunday, with her set to defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against Toni Storm.
