A new international WWE event has been announced to be taking place in 2024, as has been confirmed on WWE.com.
On November 20, WWE announced that due to the success of the ticket pre-registration for the company’s Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event on August 31, 2024, WWE will also be hosting SmackDown the night prior on August 30.
This will mark WWE’s first-ever SmackDown to be hosted in Germany and will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the same venue as Bash in Berlin.
This follows the company already announcing their first-ever SmackDown to take place in France on May 3, 2024, a day prior to WWE’s Backlash PLE in Lyon-Decines on May 4.
Tickets for both Bash in Berlin and SmackDown will go on sale for the general public on November 30, with combo tickets available on November 28.
As for who is announced to be appearing at the August 30 SmackDown, WWE have placed Jimmy Uso, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley and LA Knight on the promotional poster.
While for Bash in Berlin WWE have highlighted Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, GUNTHER and Rhea Ripley for the event.
