AEW star and former three-time TNT Champion Sammy Guevara has announced that he is cleared to compete following a concussion.
At AEW WrestleDream on October 1, The Don Callis Family’s Will Ospreay Konosuke Takeshita and Sammy Guevara defeated Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi and Chris Jericho. During the course of the bout, Guevara suffered a concussion that has kept him out of action since this contest.
On November 29, Guevara received some great news when he and Tay Melo welcomed their daughter to the world.
In a new video on his YouTube channel, Sammy Guevara provided an update following the birth of their daughter. He said:
“It’s been a minute since we’ve been on here. I’m doing good, I’m cleared. If it was gonna happen, it kind of happens at the best time,”
After Melo noted that Guevara has been helpful at home especially in the last month of her pregnancy, Sammy stated that he, Tay and their baby were all doing well.
There is still no word on when Sammy Guevara will make his in-ring return as of this writing.
