An injured AEW star has provided an update on their surgery after recently hitting a set back in their recovery.
Bandido has been out of action with an injury since the June 16 episode of AEW Rampage, when he was defeated by Konosuke Takeshita on the show.
Earlier this month, Bandido took to Twitter, where he revealed an unfortunate update on his injury, noting that he would require surgery on his wrist again as he was nearing a rumoured return.
In a follow up tweet today, Bandido revealed that he had undergone the second surgery, calling it ‘successful’ ahead of his return to action.
He wrote:
2nd surgery was successfull In first place a wanna say thank you to God for always keep with me! To @AEW workers and fans!! who always support me!! and in a very special mention @TonyKhan for all the attentions that he’ve had to me and my family THANK YOU VERY MUCH
We wish Bandido a full and complete recovery from his ongoing wrist injury.
