A WWE star has announced that they’re taking a break from social media in order to “think on some stuff”.
WWE NXT star Brooks Jensen has announced that he’s set to take a hiatus from social media.
Posting to Twitter, Jensen wrote:
Guys after everything that has happened I’m gonna take a break from social media.
Just gotta think on some stuff… Thank you for the love and support #WWENXT
As far as his on-screen activity, Jensen has had far from the best time as of late, not only witnessing the disintegration of his faction alongside Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley, but also falling short in the biggest opportunity thus far as a singles star.
On the March 12 edition of WWE NXT, Jensen became the latest star to unsuccessfully challenge Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship.
And as seen on this week’s episode (March 19), it seems as if his old teammate Josh Briggs may be able to capitalise on Jensen’s failure by becoming the next challenger to that same title.
However, it’s unclear whether this break is storyline related, or instead due to the recent legitimate backlash towards Jensen wearing an Ole Anderson shirt on TV.
Jensen apologized for wearing the shirt, which you can read more about at this link.
