This entry is the reason why I didn’t specify ‘AEW television’ in the title. If AEW wanted to bring MJF back, but wanted to play up his issues with AEW, he could wander through the Forbidden Door.
ROH, IMPACT, NJPW, basically anywhere EXCEPT AEW, where he takes over those shows, gives them the boost, and can cut promos about how he doesn’t want to return to AEW, but has to see out his contract doing work.
I feel like having MJF work but not on your show wouldn’t be the best move, but it would certainly bring a great level of interest to those other companies.
