3. Braun Strowman Beats Gunther For The WWE Intercontinental Championship
Probably the most controversial outcome of the SmackDown World Cup that is currently running on the blue brand.
While it has not been announced when and where the winner of the tournament gets his title shot, WWE Survivor Series seems to be the most likely spot.
On the November 18 edition of SmackDown, Strowman faced Imperium while teaming with The New Day and it became clear that there are future plans for a clash of Gunther and Strowman.
The unfortunate truth is that the mighty Gunther was portrayed as being afraid of the Monster of All Monsters. Something that seems uncharacteristic for Der Ringgeneral.
It would certainly be a sad end to Gunther’s title reign, but things may point to Braun Strowman walking out as champion at WWE Survivor Series.
