WWE
Heading into WWE SummerSlam 2026, there could be some interesting celebrity matches that will garner plenty of outside interest.
Whether it be paying off some notable feuds or introducing new matchups, there are some different directions WWE could go down with the usage of celebrities for “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”
Here are six potential celebrity matches at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
6. Jacob Fatu vs. Eric Andre
On the June 15 edition of Monday Night Raw, Jacob Fatu brutally attacked comedian and actor Eric Andre after he disrespected the ula fala he had just received from Roman Reigns.
Just when it looked like he would stop this attack, Reigns gave Fatu the okay to deliver two thunderous splashes.
After assaulting and taking out the comedian, it will be intriguing to see if Andre will make another appearance on WWE TV at some point.
Eric Andre returning to square off with Fatu would make for an entertaining confrontation at WWE SummerSlam 2026 that fans will not forget for a long time.
5. Jelly Roll vs. Pat McAfee
Going into WrestleMania 42, Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll found themselves in the middle of the drama between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton over the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Many fans believed that Roll and McAfee would be involved in this feud long after Mania.
However, “The Showcase of the Immortals” has been the last time fans have seen McAfee and Roll on WWE programming in recent months.
With the importance of WWE SummerSlam 2026, this could be the perfect stage for Jelly Roll to battle Pat McAfee.
4. Trick Williams & Lil Yachty vs. Damian Priest & R-Truth
In the weeks heading into WrestleMania 42, Trick Williams started appearing alongside rapper Lil Yachty.
The music artist has become the newest manager for Williams and have been inseparable on WWE TV as of late.
Meanwhile, Damian Priest and R-Truth have become the top duo on Friday Night SmackDown as the WWE Tag Team Champions.
Having Trick and Yachty challenge Truth and Priest for the titles would be a unique way to use the rapper on the WWE SummerSlam 2026 card.
3. LA Knight & iShowSpeed vs. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso)
At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, LA Knight and The Usos defeated iShowSpeed and The Vision in a six-man tag team match.
Following the match, Speed and Logan Paul had a falling out with The Vision punching the streamer. This led to Knight and The Usos helping Speed get some revenge on Paul.
Forming a friendship out of their animosity, Knight could find some backup against The Bloodline in his current feud alongside iShowSpeed.
Knight calling on Speed to face The Usos would get a lot of attention heading into the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.
2. Danhausen & Jalen Brunson vs. The Miz & Kit Wilson
During the NBA Playoffs, the New York Knicks got a push in the right direction from Danhausen, who cursed and then uncursed the team before they went on a legendary run to win the NBA Finals.
Since then, Danhausen has gotten a bigger spotlight and got some acknowledgment for his efforts from Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson.
The NBA Finals MVP appeared on WWE TV back in 2024 and could make a return now that the Knicks are the Champions.
Brunson returning should see him team with Danhausen to face off with his two main rivals of The Miz and Kit Wilson at WWE SummerSlam 2026 that would become a hot program for this summer.
1. Bad Bunny vs. Logan Paul
Heading into WrestleMania 42, there was plenty of speculation and discussion whether Bad Bunny would take part in “The Show of Shows” this year.
Since his last match at WWE Backlash 2023, Bad Bunny hasn’t made a lot of appearances on the company’s television.
Rumors and reports circulated that Logan Paul has been mentioned as a potential opponent for the Grammy Award winner.
Bunny making his return would make for a high profile showdown with Paul at WWE SummerSlam 2026 that has the star power to headline either show of the two-night event, albeit one that would depend on Paul being fit and able to wrestle after suffering a torn tricep in May.
