6 New Matches WWE Could Add To Crown Jewel 2023

With WWE recently adding Sami Zayn vs JD McDonagh to the Crown Jewel 2023 kick-off show, the card for Riyadh now sits at eight total matches.

While this is a relatively bulky figure for a Triple H WWE Premium Live Event there are at least a handful of matches WWE could still add to the line-up.

Its worth saying that WWE is also running a live event from Rochester, NY on the same night as Crown Jewel, ruling out several big names such as GUNTHER, Shinsuke Nakamura and Becky Lynch from contention.

So, while the card for that event is ‘subject to change’ the ideas pitched in this list will be strictly for stars who are not already booked elsewhere.

With that out the way let’s take a look at six new matches WWE could still add to the card for Crown Jewel 2023.

6. Charlotte Flair vs Bayley vs Asuka – WWE Women’s Championship Number One Contender’s Match

With Bianca Belair returning from her two month hiatus to immediately challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship, this now leaves three top females stars without much to do.

Yes, Bayley will be in SKY’s corner along with Dakota Kai to attempt to counter Belair’s dominant ways, but what if the Role Model also had a shot at being next in line to her teammates title?

Bayley has played second fiddle to SKY for much of 2023 and surely something has got to give at some point.

So, perhaps Nick Aldis can book a match to determine who will in fact be next in line to take on SKY or Belair.

Charlotte or Asuka are both safe bets, but both have received their fair share of chances at the gold, a Bayley win and a win for SKY later in the night would cause some well needed intrigue in the SmackDown Women’s division.
