6 New WWE Signings On SmackDown

Friday Night SmackDown is looking much stronger coming out of the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

The blue brand has added some key figures back to the main event picture with the returns of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton as well as the recent additions of GUNTHER and current Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk.

Looking further down the card, SmackDown could bolster their ranks with some new signings that come to the brand to further add depth to their roster.

Here are six new potential WWE signings on SmackDown.

6. Lola Vice

After WWE NXT Great American Bash 2026, Lola Vice is no longer the NXT Women’s Champion after losing the title to Kendal Grey.

Over the past four years, Vice has established herself as one of the biggest names in the NXT women’s division.

Using her combination of hard hitting strikes and undeniable charisma, Vice already feels like a ready made act for the WWE main roster.

Vice getting called up and signing with SmackDown makes sense and could help to bring a bigger spotlight to the women’s scene on the blue brand moving forward.

5. Jaida Parker

Another WWE NXT star who has been on the cusp of a main roster call-up for quite some time is Jaida Parker.

With her no-nonsense attitude, Parker has brought intensity to the women’s division and showcased herself as a standout character on the brand.

As of late, Parker has been feuding with Nattie and earning her stripes against one of the main roster’s most trusted veterans.

Ms. Parker signing with SmackDown could see her become a threat to become the next WWE Women’s United States Champion down the line.

4. Tatum Paxley

Over the course of her four-year run on the brand, Tatum Paxley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s North American Champion.

Before the fans’ eyes, Paxley has grown from an insecure girl to a confident in-ring competitor and decorated champion.

Going from the underdog to a fan favorite, Paxley has seemed ready for the next stage of her career for some time now.

After losing the NXT Women’s North American Championship this summer, it makes sense if WWE wants to see what Paxley can offer to the SmackDown brand and adds more contenders for the Women’s US Title moving forward.

3. Kelani Jordan

Since signing with WWE in 2023, Kelani Jordan has been one of the most successful NIL signings in the company so far.

Over the last three years, Jordan was the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion and a former TNA Knockouts World Champion.

With her stunning athletic ability and amazing agility, Jordan has been among the top stars in the NXT women’s division today.

Considering how much time she’s been on the brand and how much she’s grown, Jordan is more than prepared to take that next step, getting called up to the WWE main roster and becoming a focal point on SmackDown in the near future.

2. Nikkita Lyons

Over the past few months, there have been rumors and reports regarding Nikkita Lyons possibly getting called up to the WWE main roster.

Lyons has grown leaps and bounds after a rough start to her time in WWE, battling a litany of different injuries over her first few years in the company.

In the past year, Lyons has been a presence on WWE NXT, LFG and Evolve as well as being the current Evolve Women’s Champion.

Considering her improvement over the past few months, Nikkita Lyons could be someone that WWE gives a chance on the main roster to help add another rising star to the SmackDown women’s scene.

1. Tony D’Angelo

Tony D’Angelo was among the first new names introduced to NXT during the start of the 2.0 era of the brand.

Making history at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2026, D’Angelo won the NXT Champion and became the first ever Grand Slam Champion in the brand’s history.

While he has accomplished everything he can on NXT, it feels like WWE is ready to pull the trigger on calling D’Angelo up to the main roster.

Coming to SmackDown, Tony D has established himself as someone who would greatly benefit from working with the likes of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on the blue brand in the near future.
