WWE
WWE is prepping their young stars over in NXT to prepare them for the main roster, and eventually ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ WrestleMania.
Looking at some of the stars recently called up to the main roster, there is no denying the likes of Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans all have the potential to one day headline WrestleMania.
When glancing at the current NXT roster, there are a wide variety of names that could be launched to the next level by headlining a WrestleMania event down the road.
Here are seven WWE NXT stars to potentially main event WrestleMania.
7. Lola Vice
Since signing with WWE in 2022, Lola Vice has established herself as one of the best female stars on the NXT brand.
Using her MMA background, Vice was able to become one of the top names in the women’s division and win the NXT Women’s Championship.
With her hard hitting strikes and undeniable charisma, Vice has left her presence felt on NXT across the past four years.
Vice has the looks, character and in-ring ability necessary to fit the bill and one day become one of the few women to headline WrestleMania down the road.
6. Kelani Jordan
Signing as a WWE NIL acquisition, Kelani Jordan quickly made a name for herself and became the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.
Jordan then went on to become the TNA Knockouts World Champion and turned heel in the process.
Over the past few months, Jordan has showcased her frustrations with never getting a singles opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship since arriving on the brand.
Whether she gets that long awaited title shot or not, Jordan has all the makings to be a champion in WWE for a long time, which could lead to the opportunity to main even WrestleMania in the near future.
5. Zaria
When she signed with WWE in 2024, Zaria was billed as a top prospect on the level of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer who came into the company at the same time.
Coming from Australia, Zaria came in after her fellow big name signings and took a little more time to find her place on the NXT brand.
Despite getting some opportunities and being a focal point alongside Sol Ruca on the brand for over a year, Zaria would go on to finally win her first singles title when she captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
With her compatriot Rhea Ripley graduating from NXT to become a multi-time world champion and WrestleMania attraction, Zaria will no doubt be aiming to follow in her footsteps and reach ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ eventually.
4. Myles Borne
One of the breakout stars on the WWE NXT brand over the past year has been Myles Borne.
Starting on the brand as a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew, Borne left the faction and strived for singles success.
After some failed attempts, Borne finally won the NXT North American Championship from Ethan Page in February 2026. Then, Borne reunited with his old NQCC stablemate Tavion Heights to defeat The Vanity Project to win the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Now that he is a double champion, it is clear that WWE sees big things in Borne’s future and could even see him get as high up on the card as headlining WrestleMania one day.
3. Tony D’Angelo
Another WWE NXT star that has clearly been a focus and someone that the company sees a bright future in is Tony D’Angelo.
Since making her debut in 2021 as one of the major stars of the 2.0 era, D’Angelo has made history as the first ever WWE NXT Grand Slam Champion, winning every single title available for him to capture.
Now currently holding the NXT Championship, D’Angelo is the current face of the brand and has left a legacy that stands up to anyone else to step foot on the show.
Tony D going on to headline WrestleMania would be WWE following through on the investment that has been put into the star over the past five years on NXT.
2. Cruz Montana
After losing the TNA World Championship to Nic Nemeth at Slammiversary 2026, Mike Santana went on to sign with WWE and become Cruz Montana.
Following his official signing, Montana has made his presence felt on WWE NXT where he has already positioned himself as a top contender for the NXT Championship.
Considering his credentials coming in, it is clear that Montana will be positioned as a significant act on WWE NXT and probably will not be staying on the brand for too long.
Seeing his future on the WWE main roster sooner rather than later, it seems possible that the company would see him as a star who they can elevate to a top spot like WrestleMania headliner before long.
1. Kendal Grey
There is no one on the WWE NXT roster that has shown a higher ceiling for potential than Kendal Grey.
The former amateur wrestler is someone who has instantly propelled herself straight to the top of NXT in a little less than a year.
Using her stunning technical wrestling prowess and confident presence, Grey has gone from top prospect to Evolve Women’s Champion to the current NXT Women’s Champion.
Considering her current trajectory, it seems like Kendal Grey is a name that could be among the likes of Roman Reigns, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena and Becky Lynch as a WrestleMania headliner sooner than many think.
