The July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will be a huge show as the company returns to ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena’ Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Considering this will be the last major show ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2026, there could be some surprises throughout the evening in NYC.

From surprise appearances to returning talent, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event can offer some shocking moments that will have all the fans talking for a long time.

Here are six potential surprises at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

6. Jalen Brunson & Members Of The New York Knicks Appear

During the NBA Playoffs, Danhausen cursed and uncursed the New York Knicks, which led to a historic run to the NBA Finals for the longtime franchise.

Winning 13 straight games in the Playoffs, the Knicks ended a 53-year drought and won their first NBA Championship this century.

This led to Danhausen receiving a custom made Knicks jersey from the team and getting a lot of attention on ESPN. Elsewhere, The Judgment Day has been a thorn in Danhausen’s side as of late after he took some of their money.

With WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event taking place from MSG, it would make a ton of sense for Danhausen’s teased backup for his match against JD McDonagh to be NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and some other Knicks to help him out.

5. Nikki Bella Returns To Even The Odds Against Fatal Influence For Brie Bella & Paige

Recently, Paige and Brie Bella have been having some issues with Fatal Influence on Friday Night SmackDown.

Outnumbered by Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, Paige and Brie will have a lot on their hands when they defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Fatal Influence at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Looking to not be at a disadvantage, Brie could call on her twin sister to come help out herself and Paige.

Nikki Bella making her first appearance since WrestleMania 42 to be in Paige and Brie’s corner could give them the edge they need to survive this challenge from Fatal Influence.

4. Mike Santana Makes His Official WWE Main Roster Debut

At TNA Slammiversary 2026, Nic Nemeth defeated Mike Santana to win the TNA World Championship.

Following this loss, it was revealed that Santana was expected to leave TNA Wrestling following his contract expiring.

After giving his notice to TNA, it seems easy to assume that Santana could be on his way to WWE where he has made several appearances for NXT in recent months.

Getting a huge stamp of approval from the company, Santana may have the chance to make his main roster debut in his hometown of New York City at Saturday Night’s Main Event and make an impact in his first official appearance as a WWE star.

3. Bronson Reed Is Back To Reunite With The Vision

Ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Bronson Reed suffered a serious torn bicep injury that has led to him being sidelined for months.

In recent weeks, Reed has taken to social media to post photos of himself in the gym training to prepare for his return.

Considering The Vision have gone through their struggles in his absence, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event could be the right time for Reed to make his presence felt yet again.

Reed returning to reunite with The Vision should be exactly what the group needs to regain their momentum in a meaningful way.

2. Randy Orton Returns To Reinsert Himself Into Undisputed WWE Championship Picture

At the WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One premium live event, Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

However, the show ended with Orton laying out Rhodes with a title belt shot and a Punt Kick to the skull.

Looking to still want a 15th world title, Orton should be focused on sitting on the mountaintop yet again in the near future.

“The Legend Killer” returning at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event could open the door for Orton to reinsert himself into the Undisputed WWE Championship scene, especially after CM Punk’s recent title win.

1. Brock Lesnar Makes Unannounced Appearance To Brawl With Oba Femi

While it seemed like he retired after losing to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar returned out of nowhere to attack “The Ruler” on the May 18 edition of WWE Raw.

One thing has become certain as of late that Lesnar will show up when and where he wants without announcement.

“The Beast Incarnate” showing up to Madison Square Garden would be interesting and certainly gain a ton of attention for everyone.

If his rival is also there, Femi brawling with Lesnar would be an excellent way to further put the spotlight on this rivalry ahead of their Hell In A Cell showdown at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
