TNA/WWE
TNA Wrestling is undergoing some changes to the promotion right now, with several talents and behind the scenes names leaving.
With these talents departing, it opens the door for TNA to bring in new names to fill out the roster in a major way.
From those coming from WWE to the top independent names, the upcoming signings for TNA will help to bolster their ranks in the wake of a significant number of exits.
Here are seven new potential TNA Wrestling signings.
7. Dexter Lumis
On April 24, WWE had its latest round of mass talent cuts with over two dozen wrestlers being released.
Among those names, Dexter Lumis was one of the more surprising names listed due to The Wyatt Sicks being one of the most prominent factions on WWE TV.
Lumis has plenty of history in TNA Wrestling when he wrestled under the name of Samuel Shaw.
Considering his unique personality and his history with current TNA star Indi Hartwell, it makes sense that Lumis would be welcomed back to the company with open arms.
6. Joe Gacy
Speaking of Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy was also part of the recent mass WWE releases.
As part of The Wyatt Sicks, Gacy and Lumis were able to become WWE Tag Team Champions.
In a five year run with the promotion, Gacy showed the world why he was long known as one of the most reliable and underrated independent wrestling stars around the world.
Gacy joining TNA Wrestling could see him breaking out as a singles star and climb the ladder in a meaningful way.
5. Apollo Crews
Another former WWE star who was recently released from the company is Apollo Crews.
Spending 10 years with the company, Crews was known as one of the most underutilized talents on the roster.
Despite not always being used in a viable way, Crews is a former Intercontinental and United States Champion.
Now that he is about to be available, Crews feels like someone who could garner the spotlight immediately in the X-Division and make his mark on TNA Wrestling in a hurry.
4. LaBron Kozone
Looking at the independent scene, there might not be anyone better suited for television right now like LaBron Kozone.
With his combination of size, look, power and ability, Kozone has been a standout for any promotion he has appeared on.
While he has signed with Major League Wrestling, this could prove to be his path to get to bigger companies along the way.
Kozone using his experience in MLW could see him becoming a rising star for TNA Wrestling sooner rather than later.
3. Shotzi Blackheart
Another recent Major League Wrestling signing who could make their way elsewhere is Shotzi Blackheart.
Ever since being released from WWE, Blackheart has hit the ground running and become a prominent star for every company she has appeared in.
Considering her unique look and years of experience, Shotzi should be someone TNA pursues to bring into the company.
With all the recent departures from the promotion like Tessa Blanchard, Myla Grace and Dani Luna, Shotzi would be a key acquisition who could become one of the faces of the TNA Knockouts division.
2. Zoey Stark (Zoey Serrano)
Another former WWE star who can help TNA Wrestling rebuild the Knockouts scene is Zoey Stark.
During her time with WWE, Stark was always overlooked yet reliable in anything the company gave her to do.
As part of the recent round of WWE releases, Stark, now known as Zoey Serrano, seems focused on reinventing herself with this new lease on life in wrestling.
Whether it be against Lei Ying Lee, Xia Brookside or Ash By Elegance, Serrano could immediately thrust herself into the upper echelon of the TNA Knockouts division upon her arrival in the company.
1. Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy)
One of the more shocking names part of the recent round of WWE talent cuts was Bo Dallas.
Known as Uncle Howdy, Dallas led The Wyatt Sicks and established them as one of the most feared units in all of WWE today.
Despite not being an active in-ring performer, Dallas was featured nearly every week as the leader of The Wyatt Sicks.
Feeling like he still has something left to accomplish and to honor his brother, it makes sense if Dallas decided to continue his career in TNA Wrestling where he should be considered a major star for the promotion upon signing.
