WWE
John Cena has revealed the reaction of his Little Brother movie partner, Eric André, following Jacob Fatu’s attack on WWE Raw.
With the upcoming Netflix release of Little Brother, Eric André appeared on WWE Raw in what was revealed as a tie-in to promote the movie.
Speaking to Adam Glyn, Cena shared an insight into his career as an actor and what has led him to be the star he is today, saying:
“You’re kind enough to not dwell on the climb and only look at the success.
“Being present, passionate and coachable in the realm of being on camera and learning what that’s about.
“I always loved being in the ring, it’s immediate, it’s wonderful, if you’ve ever been, you understand.”

This would lead to Cena revealing André really rather enjoyed his appearance on WWE Raw, saying:
“He was like “Man, it was the best day of my life.'”
It wasn’t a chaos-free appearance, with André being dragged from the ringside area, in the ring itself, leading to Roman Reigns directing Jacob Fatu to deliver two splashes on the comedian.
Little Brother stars John Cena as Rudd, a realtor who leads an orderly life, only to have that all disrupted by Eric André as Marcus Pinchel, with the movie coming to Netflix on June 26.
The Inspirational John Cena
For anyone who follows John Cena on social media, fans will be aware that the legendary WWE star shares motivational advice, among other posts.
As a promotional tool for Little Brother, Cena would do exactly that when offering “big brotherly advice” in a video released by Netflix, touching on mental health, investing and other topics.
Arguably, the “hustle, loyalty, respect” mindset of John Cena as a WWE character is very much on show when it comes to the businessman and actor that he has become.
Long a face of WWE, Cena is one of the most recognisable stars in recent history outside of the wrestling world, standing alongside the likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, when it comes to celebrity status. As a movie star, he’s come a long way from The Marine, his first credited role, carving a path across genres and finding a place in the DC Universe as Peacemaker, a character that has allowed him to show emotional range beyond the comedy.
Cena’s care for the wrestling business continues, seeing him share his knowledge and experience at Bayley’s Lodestone seminar, speaking to the all-female attendees in what one guest described as “pure kindness“.
Continuing to be a presence in WWE, the retired star recently announced The John Cena Classic, which will see NXT stars face their main roster counterparts, with many details of the format still being worked upon.
