AEW/NJPW/STARDOM
On Sunday, June 28, All Elite Wrestling will present their fifth annual Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
AEW will work with New Japan Pro Wrestling, STARDOM and CMLL for this massive show from San Jose, California.
Despite this card surely having some star studded bouts, there might also have some debuting stars appearing on the next PPV from the company.
Here are eight potential debuts at AEW Forbidden Door 2026.
8. Kosei Fujita

Over in New Japan Pro Wrestling, one of the fastest rising stars in the promotion has been Kosei Fujita.
In 2025, Fujita became the youngest ever winner of the Best of Super Juniors tournament at 22 years old.
This has cemented “The Japanese Young Punk” as one of the cornerstones of the junior heavyweight division.
Fujita finally making his AEW debut could see him have his first match at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in San Jose.
7. Ryohei Oiwa
Speaking of Kosei Fujita, his TMDK stablemate Ryohei Oiwa has been another one of the main breakout stars out of New Japan Pro Wrestling over the past year.
At 27 years old, Oiwa feels like someone who has been positioned as a building block for NJPW’s future.
While he has been part of the roster for several years, Oiwa has never taken part in one of the Forbidden Door events.
Now that he is a prominent member of the WWE roster, it could lead to Oiwa taking part of the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 pay-per-view this year.
6. Dani Luna
After making a name for herself in WWE NXT UK, Dani Luna made her way to TNA Wrestling where she has emerged as one of the breakout stars of the Knockouts division.
Luna has made her presence felt in TNA and across the independent scene as one of the most impressive and underrated stars in women’s wrestling.
Then in March 2026, Luna officially left TNA Wrestling at the end of her contract with the promotion.
Being 27 years old, Luna has her entire career ahead of her and could make her way over to All Elite Wrestling, making a major debut at the AEW Forbidden Door event on June 28.
5. Rina

One of the fastest rising stars in the World Wonder Ring STARDOM promotion has been Rina.
The H.A.T.E. member has showcased herself to be a charismatic and stunning in-ring performer.
It is insane that Rina has broken out the way she has in STARDOM at the very young age of 19 years old.
Starting her career at the age of 11, Rina will be in America to take part in the STARDOM and MLW partnership, so that could open the door for her to also appear at AEW Forbidden Door 2026.
4. Neon
This year’s AEW Forbidden Door 2026 will feature talent from the Mexican promotion, CMLL.
In recent months, there have been several CMLL stars who have signed a dual contract with All Elite Wrestling.
Following in the footsteps of his El Sky Team stablemates, Neon could be next to sign with AEW and make his way to the promotion.
Neon making his official AEW debut alongside Mistico and Mascara Dorada in a huge trios match might prove to be a ton of fun and highlight his dazzling high flying style at Forbidden Door 2026.
3. Soberano Jr.
Another CMLL star that should receive some of the spotlight from All Elite Wrestling is Soberano Jr.
Usually generating some of the loudest reactions in Arena Mexico, Soberano Jr. has fostered a strong connection with the fanbase and might be able to do the same in All Elite Wrestling.
From Persephone to Hechicero, the presence of CMLL has become more and more prominent in AEW.
Come AEW Forbidden Door 2026, Soberano Jr. might be able to finally interact with the man he mentioned as his dream opponent, Andrade El Idolo in a high profile interpromotional battle.
2. Charlie (Dakota Kai)
Back in May 2025, many fans were stunned to learn that Dakota Kai had been released from her WWE contract.
After ending her eight year run with the promotion, Kai took a year off from in-ring competition before stepping back in the squared circle to face former AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander at the EVE: Wrestle Queendom VIII event.
Kai, now known as Charlie, has been taking more and more bookings, looking like she is starting to get back on the swing of things.
With a stamp of approval from not only Statlander but also Will Ospreay, it might be the right time to have Charlie come in to make her debut at AEW Forbidden Door 2026.
1. Saya Kamitani
There is no bigger name on the World Wonder Ring STARDOM roster right now than Saya Kamitani.
“The Phoenix Queen” has undeniable star power and aura that makes everyone want to watch everything that she does in wrestling.
It was recently announced that Kamitani will be appearing in the United States for the STARDOM and MLW working partnership this summer.
Knowing she may be available to appear in San Jose, Kamitani would be a perfect debuting talent to feature in a significant match on the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 card.
