WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano) Officially Allowed To Travel Internationally After Arrest

WWE star Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano) is officially allowed to travel internationally following his recent arrest.

Kaiser, real name Marcel Barthel, handed himself in to Orange County Corrections in Florida last week after finding out he had an arrest warrant stemming from an incident in April.

There had been some concerns that the arrest might have meant he’d miss out on being able to travel to Monterrey, Mexico for the big El Grande Americano vs Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) mask vs mask match at WWE Noche De Los Grandes on May 30.

However, as reported by PWInsider, the judge presiding over Barthel’s case – Andrew Cameron – officially ruled today that Barthel will be allowed to travel internationally.

He was back in Mexico City on Friday and Saturday – before this ruling – for the last episode of AAA TV before Noche De Los Grandes, as well as the ‘Serenata’ event which did have to be delayed by a day due to the arrest.

Upon his arrest, Barthel’s attorneys filed a request for him to be able to travel internationally, with that request now officially being granted today.

Before this official ruling, Assistant State Attorney Shaylynne Kotch had indicated no objection to the request for him to be able to travel.

Barthel pleaded not guilty to charges of battery stemming from an incident in April where a man claims Barthel punched him after the man had remarked “please have some manners” after Barthel and a woman were being “uncontrollably intimate” and “aggressively kissing” in an elevator while he was in the elevator with them.

Barthel’s girlfriend, WWE AAA interviewer Andrea Bazarte, who has appeared on TV as part of the Americano vs OG Americano storyline, shared a message of support for him during Friday’s Serenata event, saying “I’m your #1 fan forever.”
