AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio has said WWE ‘doesn’t know what to do with him’ amid his absence from Clash In Italy.
At WrestleMania 42, Dominik Mysterio was in action against his former Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor, who donned his Demon persona for the first time in three years, picking up the win.
Since WrestleMania, the rivalry between Balor and the Judgment Day has continued, with Balor fighting off both JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio to defeat McDonagh in a Street Fight on last week’s Raw show.
Dominik has only competed in a handful of matches since WrestleMania, and he has now addressed his absence from the upcoming Clash In Italy card.
Dominik Mysterio Says WWE ‘Doesn’t Know What To Do With Him’
Speaking to Esse Magazine, Dominik spoke about his absence from Clash In Italy, saying that he believes the company ‘doesn’t know what to do with him’.
He said:
“I don’t think they know what to do with me, I’m too cool. They have lightning in a bottle and they have no idea what to do with it, so they’re just letting it sit. I’m like you, I’m just waiting.
“I could have all the storylines, but they don’t know what to do with me, I’m too good, they’re holding me.
“I don’t know, like I said I’ve beaten John Cena, beat AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Damian Priest, I don’t know what they’re waiting for. 29 years old, kid’s young. You got all these old fossils in their working, I don’t know what they’re waiting for.
“At the end of the day, I’m a patient man, I can wait. Got the Judgment Day with me, AAA Mega Champion, I’m not tripping. If they want to put me on Clash In Italy, I’ll put my Mega Championship on the line, it don’t even matter.”

Dominik Mysterio: WWE’s Next Top Babyface?
Since he turned heel on his father back at Clash at the Castle in 2022, Dominik Mysterio has become almost unrecognisable from the babyface version of himself that debuted in WWE in 2020.
Mysterio found himself becoming the most hated man in the business for two years after the turn, with fans still having fun booing him even to this day.
However, recently the fans have begun taking more of a liking to Dirty Dom, with him getting a major babyface reaction back at last year’s WrestleMania 41 event, where he captured the Intercontinental Championship.
While many people, both in the industry and fans alike, will heap praise on Dominik’s work as a heel, he has arguably hit his ceiling in that role, with fans waiting for him to truly breakout as a beloved babyface.
