WWE
One of the most anticipated and talked about events of WrestleMania weekend every year is the WWE Hall of Fame.
With the upcoming show taking place in Saudi Arabia, it will be interesting to see who gets the call to appear for this special night.
From all-time greats to current legendary names, these inductees could prove to be one of the most star studded in the company’s history.
Here are eight potential WWE Hall of Fame 2027 inductees.
8. Batista

Batista is a six-time WWE World Champion
Back in 2020, the WWE Hall of Fame was set to be headlined by multi-time World Heavyweight Champion Batista.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WrestleMania 36 did not go down as originally planned, which included canceling the Hall of Fame ceremony completely.
Since then, Batista has not been able to take part in the ceremony that he was promised in 2020.
While his political views might not line up with WWE right now, the company could show just how much they appreciate everything Batista contributed to them with this Hall of Fame induction.
7. Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper accompanied Wendi Richter at WrestleMania 1
The most recent name that has been brought up as a potential WWE Hall of Fame 2027 inductee is Cyndi Lauper.
The singer and performer became a crucial element in the Rock N’ Wrestling era that put WWE on the map in the 1980s.
It is quite surprising to learn that Lauper is not a WWE Hall of Famer already, especially with the Celebrity wing.
Lauper seems like an ideal fit for this induction in 2027 to highlight how she was an integral part of one of the best eras of the company.
6. The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy)

The Hardy Boyz have held tag team gold in WWE, NXT, TNA and ROH
Since re-signing with TNA Wrestling in 2024, The Hardys have been on a career resurgence.
This led to 2025 where Matt and Jeff Hardy won the NXT Tag Team Championship as part of WWE’s working relationship with TNA.
Still holding gold and being the top draws at this stage of their careers, it is a testament to The Hardys’ longevity and just how much any company should value them.
With their contracts set to expire at the end of 2026, it feels like an inevitability that The Hardy Boyz could take things to the extreme back in WWE one day
5. AJ Lee

AJ Lee is the only woman to have held both the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and the Divas Championship
In September 2025, AJ Lee made her return to WWE after over a decade away.
Since then, Lee had a compelling rivalry with Becky Lynch and won the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Accomplishing so much in this run, Lee has announced some time away for now after losing to Lynch for the Women’s IC Title at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Wanting to honor her contributions and credentials, Lee could be a wonderful addition to the WWE Hall of Fame 2027 class and honor a pioneer for women’s wrestling.
4. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is a 14-time WWE World Champion – joint third of all time with Triple H behind Ric Flair (16) and John Cena (17)
Over the past several years, WWE has inducted several stars while they were still active in-ring competitors.
Rey Mysterio, in particular, is still going strong as an in-ring star despite being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
Randy Orton should be one of the next names that WWE considers giving the same treatment to.
Honoring Orton feels like a no-brainer considering his resume as a former 14-time WWE World Champion, all his iconic moments and memorable matches. Orton could be the headliner for the class of 2027 more than anyone.
3. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has a 1-1 record against Oba Femi after their matches at WrestleMania 42 and Clash In Italy 2026
At WWE WrestleMania 42 night two, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in the biggest win of his career.
After the loss, Lesnar took off his gloves and boots, leaving them in the ring to signal that he was retiring from in-ring competition.
While he has returned to continue his feud with Femi, it does feel like fans are seeing the swan song for Brock in one way or another.
Lesnar going into the WWE Hall of Fame 2027 class would make a ton of sense due to his star power, name recognition and all the meaningful stories he was a part of.
2. John Cena

The John Cena Classic is set to take place later this year
At the end of 2025, fans were saddened to see the end of John Cena’s legendary career after he submitted to GUNTHER.
Since then, Cena has still been an active member of the WWE family, appearing at both WrestleMania 42 and Backlash 2026.
Now as an ambassador for the company, Cena is able to preach about what makes WWE so special and why he was able to make a successful career as well as transition to Hollywood from the company.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest stars in wrestling history, Cena would be more than deserving of the headline spot in the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2027.
1. The Rock

The Rock was last seen in WWE instigating John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2026
The Rock is easily one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history and has garnered even more attention for what he’s accomplished in Hollywood.
The third-generation star was able to craft his own way in the business and emerged as one of the best talkers as well as overall performers the industry has ever seen.
While he is a member of the TKO Board of Directors, The Rock has not been seen in the company since the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 premium live event.
With everything he did as an in-ring performer and his continued presence in the promotion as being part of TKO, The Rock seems like a surefire WWE Hall of Fame inductee sooner rather than later, so why not in 2027?
