AEW
Now sitting atop All Elite Wrestling, Darby Allin is enjoying his first reign as the AEW World Champion.
Being a fighting champion and defending the title every week, it might be necessary for Allin to recruit some stars to join forces with him to have backup.
Allin creating his own faction could see bringing together some of the best AEW has to offer to create a superteam ready to go to war with the likes of The Death Riders, The Dogs or The Don Callis Family.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join a new Darby Allin faction.
7. Kevin Knight
On the May 6 edition of AEW Dynamite and Collision, Darby Allin defeated Kevin Knight to retain the AEW World Championship.
After the win, Sting came out to raise both men’s hands before they embraced in a show of respect.
Both Allin and Knight received their in-ring training in pro wrestling at the Buddy Wayne Academy in the Pacific Northwest.
With this built-in connection and respect, Darby would be hard-pressed to find someone better suited to join forces with him in a new stable than ‘The Jet’ right now.
6. Nick Wayne
When he first arrived in All Elite Wrestling, Nick Wayne was closely tied to Darby Allin based on their time together in the Buddy Wayne Academy.
With Wayne’s father being his trainer, Allin took Nick under his wing and wanted to guide him in his career.
However, Wayne made the decision to turn on Darby and join forces with Christian Cage during their feud in 2023.
Now having grown from this heel turn and learning that his former mentor always wanted the best for him, Nick Wayne could reconcile with Darby Allin and join his potential faction.
5. Orange Cassidy
Darby Allin is someone who owes his success to All Elite Wrestling providing him with a platform to be himself, but he is not alone in this fact.
Orange Cassidy is another star that is hard to imagine becoming a major star in any other company except AEW.
Over the past few months, Cassidy and Allin have formed a tag team in their rivalries with The Death Riders and The Dogs.
While he is a loyal member of The Conglomeration, it would make a ton of sense for Darby to call upon Orange to bring into his new stable in a significant way.
4. Brody King
Over the past few years, one of Darby Allin’s biggest rivals in All Elite Wrestling is Brody King.
Throughout their countless battles between one another, Allin and King have formed a respect for one another and a strong friendship outside of the squared circle.
On the April 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby defeated Brody to retain the AEW World Championship.
If there is one person he knows that he can trust on the AEW roster, Darby would recruit Brody before anyone else, realizing how well they know each other over the past several years.
3. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page
Someone else that Darby Allin has vaguely aligned himself with in his different feuds with factions in AEW is ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
Back at the AEW All In: Texas 2025 pay-per-view, Page defeated Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match to win the AEW World Title thanks in large part to assists from Allin and Bryan Danielson.
Throughout their seven years with All Elite Wrestling, Allin and Page have only gone one-on-one once and do not have a ton of history together.
Wanting to build a bond between the two, Darby could call upon ‘Hangman’ as a day-one AEW original who can hold down the fort and wave the flag for the company as much as he does in this new faction.
2. Swerve Strickland
Darby Allin has plenty of history with Swerve Strickland from their time together in All Elite Wrestling and coming up in the Pacific Northwest region of pro wrestling.
In promotions like DEFY, Allin and Strickland have gone to war against one another plenty of times.
With their past with one another, Swerve and Darby are friends outside of the ring and know each other better than most.
Strickland and Allin coming together as a unit would give this new potential stable an edge to it that would immediately make it different from other groups in the promotion.
1. Will Ospreay
Back in 2024, Darby Allin defeated Will Ospreay in the Continental Classic tournament.
During the months that followed, Allin and Ospreay found themselves fighting on the same side of the war against The Death Riders.
It was Allin who called out Ospreay for not fighting back against The Death Riders and wanting to see him step up to the plate.
Now that Darby is the AEW World Champion, the company could start the build to All In: London 2026 by aligning Ospreay with the daredevil in a new potential faction down the line.
