AEW
AEW’s Jon Moxley has undergone a character change over the past few months, which has caused a different dynamic in his group, the Death Riders.
Once AEW’s top heel, Moxley went through a long losing streak that led to him refinding his mojo in the Continental Classic and winning the tournament to become the AEW Continental Championship.
Turning babyface after overcoming Kazuchika Okada in the finals, Moxley has been a valiant hero to the fans, while the Death Riders have remained heels for the most part, which has led many fans to believe he will eventually be replaced at some point.
Here are seven potential Jon Moxley AEW Death Riders replacements.
7. Claudio Castagnoli

Since signing with AEW in 2022, Claudio Castagnoli has been aligned with Jon Moxley first in the Blackpool Combat Club and now with The Death Riders.
Castagnoli and Moxley are longtime friends with one another and have been stablemates for the past four years.
“The Swiss Superman” has played the enforcer role for the different factions he has been part of, but he is a former ROH World Champion and one of the best wrestlers of his generation that could easily be the leader of a stable.
Claudio replacing Moxley as the Death Riders leader would be an interesting development that could cause a ripple effect through the group moving forward.
6. PAC

PAC has been one of the most prominent stars in AEW since making his debut in the company in 2019.
“The Bastard” is one of the most accomplished in-ring competitors and high flyers in wrestling today.
When he joined The Death Riders, it always felt like PAC could easily be positioned as the leader of the faction.
PAC usurping Jon Moxley as the leader feels like something that would fit his character very well and bring even more aggression to The Death Riders.
5. Marina Shafir

The Death Riders started in 2024 with Jon Moxley making his return to All Elite Wrestling and having Marina Shafir in his corner.
Since the group’s formation, Shafir has been a force to be reckoned with and been right by Moxley’s side every step of the way.
Becoming one of the breakout stars of the stable, Shafir has been elevated to one of the most feared female stars on the AEW roster today.
Shafir betraying Moxley and replacing him as the Death Riders leader would be a massive change that would put her front and center instead of standing by the side of the frontman of the faction.
