Over the past five years, several stars from AEW have gone on to sign with WWE, with Ricky Saints and Blake Monroe among the more recent examples.

Looking at the current AEW roster, there could be quite a few talents from the company who can make a similar jump to WWE in the near future.

Here are seven AEW stars to potentially sign with WWE soon.

7. Big Bill

Recent reports have indicated that Big Bill’s AEW contract is set to expire after spending four years with the promotion.

Over the course of his run with the company, Bill made his presence felt as a former AEW World Tag Team Champion and as part of the Learning Tree with Chris Jericho.

Considering recent reports and rumors, it seems Bill’s former tag team partner Enzo Amore could be on his way back to WWE in the coming months.

If Enzo decides to re-sign, fans could see Bill head back to WWE and return to his Big Cass persona for a reunion moving forward.

6. Anna Jay

Another AEW star who reportedly has a contract that is set to expire in the near future is Anna Jay.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Jay has been a consistent contributor to the women’s division.

With her ever improving in-ring ability, Anna Jay might be in need of a change of scenery to truly break out in a meaningful way.

Signing with WWE could open the door for Jay to reach the next level of her career that she has been unable to achieve during her time in AEW.

5. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

As day one AEW originals, Private Party established themselves as one of the premier tag teams in the company.

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen came into the promotion and immediately made an impact, beating The Young Bucks in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament to crown the inaugural champions.

In their seven year run with the promotion, Private Party are former AEW World Tag Team Champions, but they have had some setbacks due to injuries.

Despite Quen currently being sidelined with an injury, Private Party could make the decision to leave AEW and go on to sign with WWE sooner rather than later.

4. Wardlow

Another early signing for All Elite Wrestling in the first year of the company was Wardlow.

Back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025, Wardlow made his return to the promotion after a year on the sidelines with a serious injury following a car accident.

However, Wardlow suffered another injury while training for in-ring competition and has been on the shelf ever since.

While he has had some injury setbacks, Wardlow is someone who has the look, size and attributes that feels like a fit for what WWE is looking for, which could lead to him signing when he becomes a free agent.

3. Deonna Purrazzo

At the start of 2024, Deonna Purrazzo signed with All Elite Wrestling after spending four years with TNA Wrestling.

Despite being with the company for the past two years, Purrazzo has not quite had a consistent role on AEW TV.

“The Virtousa” has found success on Ring of Honor where she became the first ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion.

However, Purrazzo deserves a better placement on mainline programming, so it might lead to her deciding to leave AEW and ROH to head back to WWE down the road.

2. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Britt Baker won the inaugural AEW Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in 2023 and held the AEW Women’s World Title for 290 days in 2021/2022.

When All Elite Wrestling first started in 2019, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was the first female star to sign with the promotion.

Over the course of the seven years of the company, Baker has been one of the biggest homegrown stars and a former AEW Women’s World Champion.

Despite her legacy in the promotion, Baker has not been featured on AEW programming since November 2024.

Baker has always felt like an individual who has the look, personality and talking ability to be an instant hit if she ever decides to make the move to WWE after her AEW contract expires.

1. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)

The latest AEW stars who could potentially leave the promotion when their contracts expire are FTR.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have cemented themselves as one of the greatest tag teams in the company’s history.

Now after three reigns as AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR might be ready to make the move back to WWE sometime down the line.

Following six years with the promotion, it might be time for FTR to once again become The Revival and help to rebuild the WWE tag team division after so many departures from the company as of late.
