On Friday, September 18, CMLL will present their biggest event of the year with the 93rd Anniversary.
From up-and-coming stars to reigning champions, All Elite Wrestling will be very well represented on this card.
Considering the importance of this show, it will be interesting how the AEW talent will impact the festivities on the most pivotal night in 2026 for CMLL.
Here are nine AEW stars who will appear at the CMLL 93rd Anniversary show.
Komander (vs. Titan for the CMLL World Welterweight Championship)
Earlier this year, Komander was forced to remain in Mexico due to visa issues.
This led to the masked luchador making his presence known in AEW’s partner, CMLL in Mexico.
Over the course of several months, Komander made a name for himself and became a popular fixture on the Arena Mexico shows.
Now, Komander returns to CMLL to challenge Titan for the World Welterweight Championship in what should be a highly competitive title clash.
Jeff Jarrett (vs. Blue Panther)
In one of the most surprising additions to the card, Jeff Jarrett will face Blue Panther.
This will be a historic match between two legends with over 100 years of experience between the two of them.
Jarrett will be making history of his own as he will become the first wrestler to perform at WWE WrestleMania, WCW Starrcade, AEW All In, AAA TripleMania, TNA Bound For Glory and CMLL Anniversary show.
Adding to his legacy, Jarrett should be motivated to put on a great performance against a Mexican icon like Panther.
Mascara Dorada (& Neon vs. Los Hermanos Chavez vs. Los Villanos vs. Los Hermanos Calvera for the CMLL World Tag Team Championships)
In one of the most anticipated title matches, the CMLL World Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs.
Los Hermanos Chavez will defend in a four-way with one of the challengers being AEW’s Mascara Dorada.
Dorada will team with Neon to represent El Sky Team in this title contest on the card.
With Los Villanos and Los Hermanos Calvera as the other challengers, this should be an unpredictable four-way for the gold at CMLL 93rd Anniversary.
Bandido (vs. Soberano Jr.)
Bandido returns to CMLL for one of the most heated grudge matches at the 93rd Anniversary.
In a rivalry that dates back years, Bandido will face Soberano Jr. in what should be an intense battle.
Over the past month, fans have seen Bandido and Soberano beating the hell out of one another.
With the intensity of this feud, Bandido and Soberano could steal the show on Friday night.
Persephone vs. Mina Shirakawa (vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Starlight Kid for the CMLL World Women’s Championship)
One of the most notable AEW stars who will appear at CMLL 93rd Anniversary is Persephone.
The reigning TBS Champion will defend her CMLL World Women’s Championship in a four-way match against fellow AEW star Mina Shirakawa, Tessa Blanchard and STARDOM’s Starlight Kid.
A four-way match offers Persephone a true formidable challenge for her current reign.
With three challengers, Persephone will have a tough test for her status as a double champion on September 18.
Hechicero vs. Claudio Castagnoli (vs. Zack Sabre Jr. for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship)
Fans have not been seeing Hechicero on AEW television over the past few weeks.
Over in Mexico, Hechicero is the reigning CMLL World Heavyweight Champion and has risen in popularity over the past year.
Rekindling their rivalry, Claudio Castagnoli will be involved in this three-way with Zack Sabre Jr. as well.
Considering his history with both men, Hechicero will have a lot on his plate at CMLL 93rd Anniversary.
Andrade El Idolo (vs. Volador Jr.)
Current AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo will compete in a high profile bout at CMLL 93rd Anniversary.
“The Real Latin Man” first made a name for himself as La Sombra in CMLL for years.
During this time, it was Volador Jr. who unmasked Andrade well over a decade ago.
Now in his return to CMLL, Andrade will be featured in one of the biggest matches at the 93rd Anniversary.
Mistico (& Averno vs. Zandokan Jr. & Star Jr. vs. Barbaro Cavernario & Dragon Rojo Jr. vs. Templario & Ultimo Guerrero in Eliminatorio De Parejas Increibles Four-Way)
The main event of the CMLL 93rd Anniversary will be the traditional Eliminatorio De Parejas Increibles Four-Way.
The winner of this bout will face each other in the show closer in either a Mask vs. Hair Match or Hair vs. Hair Match.
After months of wars, Mistico will be forced to team with his longtime rival Averno here.
Looking to get his coveted Mask vs. Hair Match against his enemy, Mistico will highly motivated to get the job done and move on to attempt to shave Averno bald.
