7. Rhyno – Free Agent July 2019
The aforementioned Shawn Spears recently signed with AEW, in a role that Cody (Rhodes) claims is more in line with being a player/coach – and will soon transition into a full-time coach.
Rhyno could be a similar fit.
Rhyno has admitted in interviews recently that WWE offered him a contract extension worth more than double what he is currently making. Rhyno turned down the offer.
Rhyno said he wants to help out with younger talent and give back to the industry. Billy Gunn and Tommy Dreamer work a similar role in AEW.
Prediction: Wrestles on the indies and helps AEW occasionally as a backstage agent.
