Over the past few weeks, there have been reports indicating that Enzo Amore could be in talks to make a return to WWE.
After being seen backstage at a recent NXT TV taping, it seems like Amore has nothing standing in his way of making a comeback.
Considering it has been eight years since his last appearance in the company, it should be intriguing to see what Enzo will do upon returning.
Here are six potential Enzo Amore WWE return plans.
6. Return To NXT
During his first run in the company, Enzo Amore became one of the most popular stars on the WWE NXT brand.
Known for his ability on the mic and to connect with the fans, Enzo garnered strong reactions that eventually led to his call-up to the WWE main roster.
While he has not been in WWE for the past eight years, it might be the right time for Enzo to be brought in and could bring some guidance to young stars in NXT.
Considering the transitional period on the brand right now, Enzo could become a necessary veteran who provides his experience to a very young roster on the brand.
5. Becoming A Manager
More than his in-ring ability, Enzo Amore has always been lauded for his ability on the microphone.
Becoming one of the best talkers in WWE, Enzo was known for his catchphrase and memorable routine upon making his way to the ring.
While he is still an active in-ring competitor, Amore could offer something new as a manager if he is brought in for that role.
Enzo becoming a manager upon returning to WWE would be a fun way to use the former Cruiserweight Champion to start his fresh run in the company.
4. Reunion With Nia Jax
Back in 2018, Enzo Amore started an on-air romance with Nia Jax that saw him trying to gain her favor and assist in his own career.
The former WWE Women’s Champion is still active on Friday Night SmackDown where she is one half of The Irresistible Forces with Lash Legend.
While there might not be a ton of stars on the WWE roster that he has history with, it could be interesting to see Enzo attempt to rekindle his relationship with Jax.
Enzo getting in the middle of Nia and Lash would be a unique storyline to unfold on WWE TV upon his return to the promotion.
3. Musical Battle Against Joe Hendry
Enzo Amore has been known for his “gift of gab,” which led to some rapping from the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Looking at the WWE roster, there are various stars with musical backgrounds, but no one has made it as prominent on the company’s programming as Joe Hendry.
The former TNA World Champion can be seen regularly on WWE TV with his concert segments and is known for his ‘Can We Fire Logan Paul?’ hit song.
Hendry making an open challenge for anyone to face him in a musical battle would open the door for Enzo to try his hand at going at it with the former NXT Champion.
2. Teaming With Danhausen Against The Miz & Kit Wilson
Since making his WWE debut, Danhausen has been feuding with The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Being two of the first victims of Danhausen’s curses, Miz and Wilson have been on the wrong side of this rivalry.
At WWE Backlash 2026, Danhausen and Minihausen defeated Miz and Kit in tag team action. However, it seems like this feud is still going on Friday Night SmackDown.
Danhausen needing some backup might call upon another eccentric character in Enzo Amore to join his side against Miz and Kit, bringing all these comedic personas together in one program.
1. Reunion With Big Cass
With the recent reports about his return to WWE, Enzo Amore does not seem like he will be alone when he eventually comes back to the company.
During the height of his first run in WWE, Enzo was usually side by side with his longtime tag team partner and friend, Big Cass.
At one time, Enzo and Cass were in the discussion as one of the most popular pairings in the entire promotion.
With Big Bill’s AEW contract set to expire, it would make sense if Enzo reunited with Cass and tried to take the WWE tag team division by storm one more time.
