AEW/WWE
Since the beginning of 2026, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has signed some of the top free agents available on the market.
From Tommaso Ciampa, The IInspiration and The Rascalz to Mistico, Lena Kross and The Dogs, these signings have added some much needed depth to the roster this year.
Looking at the current landscape, there could be some notable stars who become available to sign in the coming weeks ahead of the company’s next pay-per-view offering, Redemption 2026.
Here are nine new AEW signings to potentially debut before Redemption 2026.
9. Beth Copeland

Beth Phoenix, under the name Beth Copeland, made her first AEW appearance back at AEW All Out in September
Back at AEW All Out 2025, Beth Copeland made her first appearance in the company to help her husband Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against FTR.
This led to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler dropping the WWE Hall of Famer on her head right in front of her husband who was handcuffed to the ropes.
Then at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, the former Beth Phoenix made her return to take care of Stokely Hathaway before her husband and Christian captured the AEW World Tag Team Title from FTR in an I Quit match.
Despite seeing her best in-ring years in the rearview mirror, Copeland could become the latest AEW signing and work beside ‘The Rated R Superstar’ on this final run of his career.
8. Drilla Moloney

Drilla Moloney defeated Daniel Garcia at AEW Forbidden Door 2026
On the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 Zero Hour, Drilla Moloney defeated Daniel Garcia in singles action.
The former Bullet Club War Dogs member decided to re-sign with New Japan Pro Wrestling at the start of 2026.
Despite seeing his former stablemates become The Dogs in All Elite Wrestling, Moloney has gone on to join Unbound Co. and form a daunting duo with Shingo Takagi in NJPW.
After impressing at Forbidden Door, Drilla could become a hot commodity on the free agency market that Tony Khan might want to acquire to complete The Dogs with their enforcer.
7. Dani Luna

Dani Luna was granted her release from TNA Wrestling on March 31, 2026
Over the past few years, Dani Luna has become one of the most impressive names on the independent scene and TNA Wrestling.
Luna has showcased herself to be a versatile in-ring performer who thrives in any kind of match and can make her mark in just about any promotion she steps foot in.
After nearly making it to the top of TNA, it feels inevitable that Luna could become an unstoppable force in the AEW women’s division.
Whether it be against Mercedes Mone, Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander or Thekla, Luna could become a highlight of the women’s scene and become a star on the national or even international scale with All Elite Wrestling.
6. Kay Lee Ray

Kay Lee Ray held the WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship for 649 days
On April 24, WWE had its latest round of talent cuts with over 30 wrestlers being released from the company.
One of the more surprising names on the list of WWE releases was Alba Fyre who has been a standout since signing with the company in 2019.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion had become one of the most underrated in-ring competitors in the women’s division.
After making her in-ring return after being released for Pro Wrestling EVE, Fyre, now once again known as Kay Lee Ray, could be a difference maker in the AEW women’s division in a significant way.
5. Hazuki

Hazuki has wins to her name in AEW against Maya World and Persephone
In the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, STARDOM’s Hazuki became one of the biggest takeaways.
In the first round, Hazuki pulled off an upset over CMLL Women’s World Champion Persephone.
Then in one of the best AEW women’s matches of 2026, Hazuki came up just short against Mercedes Mone in the Owen Hart Foundation women’s semi-finals on the June 17 edition of AEW Dynamite.
After making a big impression on the fans and Tony Khan, it feels like Hazuki could be in line to become the next dual contracted star with AEW.
4. Starlight Kid

Hazuki was the inaugural Future of Stardom Champion
Another STARDOM talent who garnered a huge spotlight on the road to and at the AEW Forbidden Door 2026 event is Starlight Kid.
The former Wonder of Stardom Champion pulled off one of the most memorable encounters of the Forbidden Door card against Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Despite coming up short, Starlight Kid comes out of the pay-per-view feeling like a bigger star and gained some new fans as a result.
With Thekla unmasking her and disrespecting STARDOM yet again, it would not be surprising to see Starlight Kid make her presence felt back in AEW as a potential dual contracted star ahead of Redemption 2026.
3. Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane is a former NXT Women’s Champion and IWGP Women’s Champion
One of the most shocking names from the latest round of WWE releases had to have been Kairi Sane.
While Sane has not obtained a ton of singles accolades during her time in WWE, she had been one of the most consistently featured talents over the past year.
Alongside Asuka and IYO SKY, Sane was in the middle of one of the most captivating storylines on WWE television, but the company decided to release her before she was able to finish that story.
It feels like there is a chance that Sane might be interested in having a new home with All Elite Wrestling when she becomes available on July 24.
2. Charlie (Dakota Kai)

Dakota Kai is a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez, and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with IYO SKY
It is still surprising to see Dakota Kai on the free agency market after spending the past eight years being one of the most underrated performers on the WWE roster.
After being released from WWE in May 2025, Kai spent the next year away from the wrestling world and then made her return in March 2026.
Competing for EVE, Kai, now known as Charlie, showed no ring rust as she had an entertaining bout against AEW’s Kris Statlander.
With a stamp of approval from Statlander and EVE producer Will Ospreay, Charlie could become a wonderful acquisition that might pay immediate dividends in the AEW women’s division right now.
1. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)

The Motor City Machine Guns teamed with Jay Lethal at AEW All Out 2022, where they lost to FTR and Wardlow
After the latest round of WWE talent cuts, fans immediately thought that The Motor City Machine Guns were the stars most likely to head to All Elite Wrestling.
Back in 2024, it looked like Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley might sign with AEW after becoming free agents upon their TNA Wrestling contracts expiring.
The Motor City Machine Guns are widely known as one of the greatest tag teams of their generation and could join a division that might be the most talented AEW has ever had in the company’s history.
From FTR and Cage & Cope to The Rascalz and The Young Bucks, there are a wide variety of exciting matchups that make The Motor City Machine Guns signing with AEW a no-brainer that could happen as soon as before or at Redemption 2026.
