At AEW All In London 2026, Kofi and Austin Creed, now known as The New Level, made their debut to team with Swerve Strickland to win the Trios Roulette Royale to become new AEW World Trios Champions.

After winning gold, The New Level then came out to join an array of legendary tag teams in the ring later in the show.

Their arrival in All Elite Wrestling has opened the door for several first time matches for the former New Day moving forward.

Here are eight potential AEW first time opponents for The New Level.

8. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)

On the July 30 edition of AEW Collision, The Motor City Machine Guns made their official debut with the company and announced they have signed with All Elite Wrestling.

After over a month away following their first appearance, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley made their return at AEW All In London 2026.

As part of an assortment of legendary pairings, MCMG have immediately put their name in the hat as a top duo in AEW.

Despite working in WWE together for almost two years, The New Level have never faced The Motor City Machine Guns, making this a tantalizing dream match for tag team wrestling fans.

7. The Dogs (David Finlay & Clark Connors)

One of the newer tag teams in AEW this year has been The Dogs.

While they are a trio with Gabe Kidd, David Finlay and Clark Connors have established themselves as a pairing as well.

Finlay and Connors have proven to be more than formidable and have to have vengeance on their mind for The New Level.

After Kofi and Austin Creed came into AEW to win the Trios Titles, The Dogs could get a measure of revenge by punishing the former WWE stars in tag team action.

6. Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin)

Looking at the AEW tag team division, Top Flight have long been viewed as future champions.

Darius and Dante Martin have been working in All Elite Wrestling for the past six years.

Wanting to break out from the pack, Top Flight might need themselves a win over one of the many legendary duos in the AEW tag team scene right now.

The New Level facing Top Flight might be the best for the Martin brothers to garner the spotlight again.

5. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

Another young pairing in the AEW tag team division has been Private Party.

Signing with AEW in 2019, Private Party immediately turned heads with their upset victory over The Young Bucks in the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Then in 2024, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen won the big one when they beat The Bucks to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

After losing the titles and being absent from the company for the past two years due to injury, Private Party could return and be across the ring from The New Level for the first time.

4. The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn)

As of late, The Gunns have been getting some attention due to their improvement inside the squared circle.

Austin and Colten Gunn have been in AEW for the past six years and feel like they have truly hit their stride.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champions would make for an ideal choice to face The New Level early in their run.

Seeing where they match up with an iconic duo like Kofi and Austin Creed, The Gunns could rise up the ranks in a major way after clashing with The New Level.

3. Brodido (Bandido & Brody King)

In 2025, Bandido and Brody King came together as a tag team on AEW television.

This led to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 where Brodido defeated FTR and The Hurt Syndicate to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

At AEW All In London 2026, The New Level and Swerve Strickland won the Trios Roulette Royale to take the AEW World Trios Titles from “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido.

Looking for revenge, Brodido can come after Kofi and Austin Creed in tag team action in the near future.

2. Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland)

At AEW All In London 2026, Cage and Cope defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Post match, The Motor City Machine Guns, FTR and The New Level all came out to stare down with Cage, Cope and The Bucks.

Now that they stand on top of the AEW tag scene, it makes sense for Adam Copeland and Christian Cage to square off with Kofi and Austin Creed.

With two of the most iconic and historically significant pairings in wrestling of the past three decades, Cage and Cope facing The New Level has all the potential of a pay-per-view main event if AEW wanted it to be.

1. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

Ever since The New Day departed WWE, fans have been discussing the possibility of Kofi and Austin Creed finally facing The Young Bucks.

For the better part of the past decade, The New Level and The Bucks have been teasing a showdown.

Whether it be in trios action with Big E, Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega or just two-on-two, it feels like fans have been salivating to see Kofi, Creed, Matt and Nick Jackson in the ring together.

The New Level standing across the ring from The Young Bucks is the stuff of legend and could make for one of the most highly anticipated tag team matches in recent memory.
