This is an interesting one actually. I do agree that WWE has completed botched Asuka, but you can’t place the blame at the feet of the new Women’s Tag Team Championships.

I place the blame at the uneven rosters that is caused by the fact that Charlotte and Becky are fighting with Ronda Rousey over on Raw. This has left the Smackdown roster thin on the ground, and ensured Asuka has no viable challengers.

Also, Asuka is only the champion because WWE needed to get the title away from Becky Lynch so she could move onto Rousey on Raw. WWE had no plan for her. The problem is with the imbalance of rosters, not because of the introduction of the tag titles and the belts can help those who are currently not in the main event picture.
