WWE SummerSlam Preview – Part 2 – Bryan, Bludgeonings and Baron

The Bludgeon Brothers (c) vs The New Day – SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships

I love both these teams for very different reasons.

The Bludgeon Brothers are the most believable brutes in the WWE, completely destroying every single team that has been put in front of them.

Every week they find a new way of being as barbaric as possible while they dismantle another team of hapless jobbers, and I love it.

The New Day on the other hand are a team that seems to consistently improve in every feud they enter. They have so much charisma, so many pancakes, and are brilliant in the ring.

Although many expected The Bar would win the tag tournament on SmackDown Live, I don’t think many will be upset to see Xavier, Big-E and Kofi at SummerSlam.

There are two ways that this can go.

Either,  the New Day will finally be a match for the Mallet Men, or, Harper and Rowan will continue their path of destruction for the rest of time and we’ll never see another champion again.

I personally think it will be the former, as I suspect the writers might be a bit bored of squash matches.
