AAA Still Advertising Jeff Hardy For TripleMania XXX Tijuana

As of Tuesday (June 14), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide was still advertising Jeff Hardy for TripleMania XXX Tijuana.

AAA shared a graphic for Saturday’s event to Twitter on Tuesday at 2pm ET (7pm BST). The graphic featured a number of stars, including both Matt & Jeff Hardy.

It had previously been reported that Jeff was arrested at 9:54am and booked shortly after midday on Monday in Volusia, Florida, with his two blood-alcohol tests after his arrest coming in at 3.7 times Florida’s legal limit.

The Hardys were originally scheduled to face Dragon Lee & Dralístico in the main event of Saturday’s show. AAA have reportedly been working to get another tag partner for Matt, who they still want in the match.

It is worth noting that AAA’s tweet was posted via TweetDeck, meaning that it had likely been previously scheduled, but the tweet hasn’t been deleted since, at the time of writing (Wednesday, June 15).

AEW has now stated that they have suspended Jeff without pay following his arrest.
