AEW Star Says He’ll Never Go To WWE

AEW Star Says He’ll Never Go To WWE WWE/AEW

Darby Allin has shut down the possibility of a move to WWE having been with AEW since 2019.

Allin was one of the first stars signed to the newly formed company having caught the attention of the then-AEW EVP Cody Rhodes.

He was so eager to join the start-up that Allin even took out a $12,000 loan to buy himself out of an existing contract.

While some AEW stars may be putting thought into the possibility of a move to WWE, including The Elite before they did decide to stick with AEW, Allin has spoken about the possibility himself.

Speaking on the Jon Chuckery Show, Allin revealed:

“I’m super stoked on everything and my whole growth with but just them just letting me be me.

“And plus, I’ve always I’ve I haven’t shied away from this. I always tell Tony maybe I’m the worst businessman in professional wrestling because there’s never going to be a bidding war for Darby Allin.

“That’s because I love it. I love AEW so much. I ain’t playing games, I’m not going to try and say, ‘Oh, what if I went somewhere else?’ No, I’m just being real.

“Darby Allin is going to live and die in AEW.”

CM Punk has recently described Darby Allin as having the “it factor.”

Following AEW Dynamite on August 23, 2023, Allin will team with Sting to face Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage in a coffin match at All In this Sunday.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi has recently revealed that he would like to face Allin.
