A popular AEW star is reportedly set to receive a continued push coming out of their big match at tomorrow night’s Full Gear event.
A TBS Championship match is set to take place at AEW Full Gear tomorrow night, with Kris Statlander set to defend the championship against both Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a three-way match.
Statlander also defended the title back at WrestleDream, when she defeated Julia in singles action.
Following WrestleDream, Julia took several weeks off of AEW television, as she got married to fellow AEW star Lee Johnson, with the pair also going on their honeymoon.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), there were some initial creative plans altered for Julia, but it was not told how consequential those changes will end up being.
However, it was stated to Fightful that she was in store for an immediate push, and that her crowd reactions haven’t gone unnoticed.
It was also implied that the creative changes had to do with either Skye Blue or Willow Nightingale.
With Julia set to compete for the TBS Championship at Full Gear, it was noted that whether she walks out of Los Angeles as the champion or not, there are plans for a continued focus on her due to her character connecting well with audiences.
