AEW star Tay Melo has reflected on her wrestling career amid her in-ring absence and pregnancy.
Melo announced her pregnancy at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May. She and Sammy Guevara have since revealed that they’re expecting a baby girl.
With Melo not wrestling for AEW since January, there has been some speculation about what’s next for the star following her pregnancy.
Melo has now taken to Twitter to reflect on her career so far, recalling major appearances for WWE, AEW and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Recalling moving to the US after signing with WWE in October 2016, Melo commented on her growth since then, tweeting:
I never had so many deep thoughts about my career like now. I love and miss wrestling so much.
I arrived in the🇺🇸 in October 2016, no English and had NEVER watched wrestling before 😂 now for the last almost 7 years I dedicate myself to wrestling and did so many cool things that I’m proud and grateful for.
-WRESTLEMANIA 34
-MAE YOUNG CLASSIC
-TRIPLEMANIA
-ALL OUT
-REVOLUTION
-DOBLE OR NOTHING
-FULL GEAR
Etc etc etc ..
I worked for WWE, AEW & AAA.
I know it’s just the beginning and now I’m extra motivated to have everything else. Wrestling changed my life, gave me a purpose and I think everyone should enjoy wrestling ❤️
Melo also shared photos of these aforementioned appearances, which you can view in the post below.
