An update on AJ Styles’ current WWE contract after he reportedly signed a one year contract extension this year.

It had previously been reported that AJ Styles‘ WWE contract was set to expire at the end of 2025, which led to some speculation about his future.

However, it was reported earlier this Summer that AJ had signed a one year contract extension with the company, taking his deal into 2026.

AJ however got fans once again discussing his future with a cryptic Instagram post he made earlier today, featuring an hourglass with his logo inside.

The image made the rounds on social media, and had a lot of people wondering if AJ’s retirement was coming soon, and there has now been an update on his contract status.

Per Fightful Select, AJ’s one year contract extension that he signed earlier this year is set to expire in February, shortly after the Royal Rumble and prior to WrestleMania 42.

AJ had previously noted that his last WWE contract would have been his last in professional wrestling.

We will provide any updates on AJ’s WWE status as they become available.
