WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles has commented on the possibility of him opening up his own training facility following his in-ring retirement.

Since stepping away from the ring, AJ Styles has been trying his hand at multiple behind-the-scenes WWE roles.

With Styles previously confirming that he was set to fill in for someone as a coach, the Phenomenal One has been featured in several recent photos backstage at Evolve, and at Nattie and TJ Wilson’s Dungeon facility.

During the latest edition of his Phenomenally Retro podcast, AJ Styles was asked if he’d ever consider opening his own wrestling school or facility.

Interested in having an invite-only facility similar to Nattie and TJ’s, Styles stated:

“I would like to get something like what Nattie and TJ (Wilson) have with their Dungeon, because it’s an invite-only kind of experience.

“You’re invited, that means that you’re well enough known that we know you can get in here and you can hold your own in this ring.

“To have something like that close to me so that I can work with WWE ID guys and girls, that would be great. That would be important, that way I could see the progression, I could help them out with the little things and help them get to that next level.

“Maybe they’re hoping to get a tryout and before that tryout we can get in there and work together a little bit. That would be something I would like to do.”

AJ Styles previously stated that he’s “wearing a couple different hats” backstage in WWE, mostly working with the company’s recruitment and WWE ID programs.

Following a career which spanned multiple decades and saw him hold world championships all over the globe, it’s clear that Styles has a lot of knowledge to pass down, and if he does open a training facility, the world of wrestling will almost definitely be better because of it.
