Backstage Details On New Bloodline Member’s WWE Debut WWE

New information on the latest debut on WWE SmackDown as one new member of the Bloodline has already been revealed with another yet to come.

Tonight’s April 13 played host to the debut of Tama Tonga.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Tonga had been scouted by WWE for quite some time with his debut having been expected over the last few months.

WWE actually had interest in him way back in 2016 when they signed fellow NJPW alumni AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura.

However, at that point, Tonga chose to stay with New Japan to work with his brothers.

He has two real-life brothers Hikuleo and Tanga Loa, both working in NJPW, but there was no word whether or not the pair were also being eyed by WWE.

There is still another likely new member of the Bloodline forth coming after word of Jacob Fatu (son of Tonga Kid) being signed to WWE and being backstage at WrestleMania 40.

In the event the pair of Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu teamed, they would be replicating their father’s tag team, The Islanders.

In an earlier segment on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa led an attack on Jimmy Uso after pointing out that Jimmy Uso lost to Jey Uso at WrestleMania, and something needed to be done about that.

A hooded figure then attacked Jimmy, that being Haku’s son and former NJPW star, Tama Tonga.

Sikoa would go on to lead an attack against Jimmy Uso that was perpetrated by both himself and the debuting Tonga.

Later in a backstage segment, Tonga informed Paul Heyman that the attack was per the orders of the ‘Tribal Chief’.

We’ll have to stay tuned to find out more details on whether or not  he was referencing Roman Reigns or possibly someone else..
