Io Shirai Arrives In America
Someone else rumored for the second Mae Young Classic is the other half of that best match of 2018 and possibly ever, Io Shirai. The former Stardom Champion – and ranked the best women’s wrestler in the world by WrestleTalk Magazine – made her NXT debut at a house show in Tokyo last week to cut a promo in front of the live crowd. Shirai nearly signed for WWE last year for the first Mae Young Classic, but an injury kept her pen from reaching paper.
Shirai has now revealed on Twitter that she has arrived in the United States of America, tweeting a picture of her new home:

Translation: “Good morning Japan. American houses are wide.”
