Pro wrestling legend Bobby Fulton has been hospitalized with several health issues.
On August 20, the star’s son Dillon took to his father’s Twitter account to confirm that Fulton had been rushed to hospital, writing:
“Came back home to NC for the weekend with dad, an hour out had to rush him to the hospital. They’ve pronounced that dad is sepsis and has double pneumonia! Please keep him in your prayers thanks!”
In an update later that day, Dillon wrote:
“These next 48hrs are critical! Prayers for the doctors to have wisdom and a healing for dad!”
Fulton has been dealing with a number of health issues in recent year, diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019. He announced that he was cancer-free in June 2020. He underwent shoulder replacement surgery in 2021.
Fulton notably wrestled as part of the Fantastics tag-team with Tommy Rodgers, and sometimes his brother Jackie Fulton. Bobby won gold in a number of notable promotions including NWA, and Jim Crockett Promotions.
We send our best wishes to ‘Bobby Fulton’ James Hines at this time.
