Booker T wants a WWE NXT name to go back to the main roster.

Since the departure of Mauro Ranallo, Vic Joseph has become the voice of NXT and has been the soundtrack for some of the biggest moments on the brand over the past three years.

In October 2022, Booker T joined Joseph at the commentary desk every week.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed how easy Vic Joseph makes the job and wanting to see him go back to the main roster. Booker said:

“Vic makes it really, really easy for me, man. I couldn’t do the job without Vic, to be honest. I would not be as comfortable as I am without Vic.”

“He really does all of the heavy [lifting]. Vic, he does all of the heavy lifting, I’m just a star, and I say that giving him props man because I couldn’t do it without him. There’s no way. I couldn’t do it.”

Joseph had a brief stint on the WWE main roster in 2019, but Booker says he is pushing for the move to happen again. He said:

“He’s my guy. He’s going to be on the main roster, I’m pushing for him. Well, you can get there but you gotta know how to stay there.”

“You gotta know how to steal somebody’s job, like me [laughs]. Vic, the next time he gets a chance in that spot, he’s gonna know exactly what it means and how to stay in that spot.”
