A new update has emerged on former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Carmella’s WWE absence ahead of her return to action.
Carmella hasn’t wrestled since suffering an injury at a live event at the beginning of August. She recently took to Twitter to note that she’s still recovering.
Per PWInsider, Carmella is expected to be back on the road for WWE next month. The report stated that her return is ‘within sight’.
The former Women’s Tag Team Champion last wrestled on TV during the July 18 edition of WWE Raw, unsuccessfully challenging for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship.
Belair will be in action at this weekend’s (September 3) Clash At The Castle event, teaming with Asuka and Alexa Bliss to battle Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.
The self proclaimed ‘most beautiful woman in WWE’ currently has a 3-12 win/loss record for this year so far. Stay up to date with WWE win/loss records for 2022 using our tracker right here.
