Chad Gable has reacted to his apology to Otis being rejected by Maxxine Dupri on tonight’s WWE Raw show in London.

After losing the mask vs. mask match to El Grande Americano at AAA Noche de los Grandes, the Original El Grande Americano is no more, with him being unmasked to once again become Chad Gable.

In the weeks since the match, Gable has been reaching out to luchadores he targeted as El Grande Americano, with his apologies being accepted by Penta, Rey Mysterio, Rey Fenix, Dragon Lee and others.

However, there are other people Gable wronged in the past that he was looking to apologise to, those being Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri of the Alpha Academy, who he had previously abused back in 2024 following his heel turn.

Chad Gable Reacts To Otis Apology Rejection

Gable would call all three to the ring on tonight’s WWE Raw in London, where he emotionally apologised to them all, especially Otis, who he detailed his 20 year history with.

Otis appeared as though he was about to accept Gable’s apology, before Maxxine Dupri stepped in and cut him off, scolding Gable and leaving, with Otis and Tozawa following him.

Taking to Twitter following the show, Gable has reacted to his apology to Otis being rejected, simply saying:

“We’ve written a hell of a book the past 20 years, I hope this isn’t the final chapter”

What’s In Store For Chad Gable At WWE SummerSlam?

With this year’s WWE SummerSlam event set to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the hometown of Chad Gable, with his recent groundswell of public support, we will likely see Gable feature on the show in an important way.

Gable has endlessly spoken about his desire to finally capture a singles championship in WWE, with him still yet to do so, so him finally capturing the Intercontinental Championship from Penta, the man whose debut initially sent Gable down the spiral of becoming El Grande Americano, would be a great full circle moment.

Alternatively, with Maxxine Dupri seemingly joining the Vision in the coming weeks, and it being her who rejected Gable’s apology, we could see Gable either face a member of the Vision one on one, or reunite with Otis and Tozawa for a six-man tag against Bron Breakker, Austin Theory and Logan Paul on the show.
