Champion Vs Champion Match Set For Raw Next Week

During tonight’s episode of WWE Raw on the USA Network, a SmackDown vs Raw champion vs champion match was confirmed for next week’s show.

Tonight, the Street Profits picked up a win over Andrade and Angel Garza, with the latter duo continuing to show very clear signs of dissension.

The Profits, who hold Raw’s Tag Team Championship, were then greeted with the entrance of the SmackDown Tag Champs, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

With the two sets of champions in the ring, it was confirmed that there will be a champions vs champions match next week.

It was not confirmed whether the match will unify the belts and we’ll end up with just one WWE Tag Team Championship.

With both tag divisions depleted with injuries, releases and WWE just deciding to split a bunch of teams, a unification is something fans have been calling for for a while now and would be a welcome change.
