Change To AEW Commentary Team

Change To AEW Commentary Team AEW

A change to the AEW commentary team for tonight’s April 13 episode of Collision in Highland Heights, Kentucky has been announced.

Tonight’s AEW Collision kicked off with an acknowledgement of Jon Moxley having won the IWGP Championship at last night’s NJPW Windy City Riot in Chicago.

However on commentary for the night was a two-man booth of Tony Schiavone and ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard.

It was explained that Nigel McGuinness was ‘on assignment’, hence Menard replacing him for the night.

Bobby Cruise served as the ring announcer again for tonight’s show after AEW recently released Dasha Gonzalez.

In the first match of the night, the House of Black (Brody King, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) took on a new configuration for Top Flight.

The match featured Dante Martin and Action Andretti teaming with Matt Sydal.

On commentary is was explained that the reason that Darius Martin was absent from the trio was because he was otherwise engaged tonight getting his pilot’s license.

The House of Black picked up the win ahead of their match against Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe and Eddie Kingston at Dynasty.
