The Thunderdome is WWE’s latest phenomenon. The new style of presentation made its debut last week on SmackDown and has been used at SummerSlam and Raw since. It has largely been a critical success with the atmosphere being much better than at the Performance Center. Now, CM Punk has offered his thoughts.
During a Twitter Q&A session, Punk compared the Thunderdome to being in the greeting card section of a Walgreens. An interesting simile to say the least. Here is the tweet:
Feels like I’m in the greeting card section of a Walgreens. Think they got the idea from the NBA? Don’t like the thought of them “directing” fans. But it’s a clever idea.

The Thunderdome was constructed inside Orlando’s Amway Center. It was recently reported that WWE’s contract with the City of Orlando will keep them inside the building until October 31. The agreement also states that they can mutually agree to extend the relationship with two weeks’ notice.
Punk was also asked during his Q&A session about who he wanted to wrestle in All Elite Wrestling. If you would like to read more about that, click here.
